It is very important to have a performance measurement in order to make right decision, hence to realize our targets via help of these decisions in business world. However, performance measurement is a very vast concept and therefore needs to be described. In our research, we used Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) method as a performance measurement tool. We managed to reach 21 Turkish Banks' data trough The Bank Association of Turkey and measured productivity and efficiency. This study yielded that 13 Banks were active while 8 of them were below efficiency limit and active institutions were found by analyzing data obtained from CCR (Charnes, Cooper, and Rhodes), data oriented DAE and improvement tables prepared for inactive banks. |
